Independent Private Coaching Institute

Roy Defence Academy is a private coaching institute. It is not affiliated with the Indian Army, any government body or any recruitment board.

• No Government or Military Endorsement: While our founder Hon. Subedar Major (Hony.) Anup Kumar Roy (Retd.) served in the Indian Army Education Corps (AEC), Roy Defence Academy (also referenced on its historical admission crest as Roy Coaching Centre) is an independent private tutorial in Kandi, Murshidabad.
• SSB Means Sashastra Seema Bal: We coach exclusively for non-commissioned soldier, sailor, airman, constable, sub-inspector, and clerical recruitment exams. We do not offer NDA, CDS, or officer-level 5-day SSB interview obstacle coaching. In our courses, 'SSB' always means Sashastra Seema Bal.
• Official Notifications Govern Eligibility: Candidates must always verify current age, physical standards, syllabus, and application dates on official government portals (joinindianarmy.nic.in, ssc.gov.in, prb.wb.gov.in).
